Our Pastors.
FOUNDING PASTORS OF RESTORE CHURCH
Jordan and Melissa Gash live in Yorkville, IL with their four children, Hannah, Hallie, Isaac & Haven. As pastors, they’re passionate about people discovering the reality of God’s love and grace and the good plan that He has for their lives. They are the founders of Restore Church and have been the lead pastors since the church began in 2004.
The Gashes have been married since 2002. They grew up in Canton, Ohio where they met during high school and it wasn’t long before they became best friends and high-school sweethearts. They each believed in Jesus at an early age, but it wasn’t until they were in college that they each made decisions to truly follow Christ and to seek His plan for their lives. Jordan spent 4 years in college studying as a biology major with the intention of pursuing a career in the medical field. However, his pursuits changed during his senior year in college when he gave his life to Christ and recognized a calling of God upon his life to the ministry. During that time, Melissa, after graduating from college with a dietetics degree, also sensed a calling to the ministry and they set out to pursue the plan of God for their lives together.

Jordan and Melissa were married shortly after college and then attended Rhema Bible College together, studying with an emphasis in pastoral ministry. After their graduation, they were ordained and separated into the ministry by their pastors, Michael and Barbara Cameneti of Faith Family Church in Canton, Ohio. Jordan is also an officially licensed minister and a current member of the Rhema Ministerial Association International. In addition to working with her husband at the church, Melissa also worked as a clinical dietitian for over 10 years. In 2012, she left her full-time position as the Clinical Dietitian Manager at Presence Mercy Medical Center in Aurora to work for the church.
The Gashes love being parents and serving together with their church family at Restore Church. They’re both gifted teachers and ministers and they approach life and ministry as a team. They are passionate encouragers and their excitement, joy and love for God’s Word is inspiring and contagious!
