FOUNDING PASTORS OF RESTORE CHURCH

Jordan and Melissa Gash live in Yorkville, IL, with their four children: Hannah, Hallie, Isaac, and Haven. As pastors, they’re passionate about helping people discover the reality of God’s love, grace, and the good plans He has for their lives. They are the founders of Restore Church and have served as the lead pastors since the church's founding in 2004.

The Gashes have been married since 2002. They grew up in Canton, Ohio, where they met during high school. It wasn’t long before they became best friends and high school sweethearts. They each believed in Jesus at an early age, but it wasn’t until college that they fully decided to follow Christ and seekeir lives. Jordan spent four years in college studying biology with the goal of pursuing a career in the medical field. However,anged during his senior year when he gave his life to Christ and recognized a calling of God upon his life to ministry. During that same time, Melissa, after graduating with a  His plan for thdegree in dietet his pursuits chics, also sensed a calling to serve in ministry, and they began to pursue God's plan for their lives together.
Jordan and Melissa were married shortly after college and then attended Rhema Bible College together, studying with an emphasis in pastoral ministry. After their graduation, they were ordained and separated into the ministry by their pastors, Michael and Barbara Cameneti of Faith Family Church in Canton, Ohio. Jordan is also an officially licensed minister and a current member of the Rhema Ministerial Association International. In addition to working with her husband at the church, Melissa also worked as a clinical dietitian for over 10 years. In 2012, she left her full-time position as the Clinical Dietitian Manager at Presence Mercy Medical Center in Aurora to work for the church. 
The Gashes love being parents and serving together with their church family at Restore Church. They’re both gifted teachers and ministers, and they approach life and ministry as a team. They are passionate encouragers, and their excitement, joy, and love for God’s Word is inspiring and contagious!

SERVING THE COMMUNITY

Jordan and Melissa care deeply about their community and have a passion for Yorkville and the Kendall County area. They believe that making a positive impact in the world starts with serving others.

In 2021, Jordan began serving as a Police Chaplain for the Montgomery Police Department, and he now serves as the Chaplain Coordinator for the Kendall County Association of Chiefs of Police Chaplaincy Program, supporting the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office and all five police departments in Kendall County. He also serves as the State Representative in Illinois for the International Conference of Police Chaplains.


In 2023, Jordan was appointed by the Kendall County Board to serve on the Kendall County Board of Health, and he has been truly blessed to support the important work of the Health Department in our community.

Jordan also serves on the board at Parkview Christian Academy in Yorkville and believes in the importance of Christian education and the value it brings to our community.
