As a local church, we are a part of a global movement of Christ followers called the Body of Christ. In Romans 12 and in 1 Corinthians 12, the Bible teaches that as members of Christ's Body, we need each other and that each of us are uniquely gifted, graced, and possess skills and experiences that are diverse. As we come together, motivated by love and God's heart to help others, we become a force for good in our community. As we all get involved, we become stronger together and, with God's help and grace, we will make a difference that's real and lasting.

IN WHAT WAYS DO YOU FEEL THAT YOUR TALENTS HAVE HELPED THE CHURCH?

WHAT NEW TALENTS HAVE YOU DISCOVERED SINCE JOINING THE R-TEAM?
“It seems to me I have grown closer to the Lord and am more able to hear him when I am praying.” - Donna A. (Prayer Ministry)
“I discovered that I'm really good with little kids!” - Cassie T. (Nursery & Toddler)
“Openly sharing the gospel & how God has transformed me. I can boldly share with peace in my heart because I am no longer in bondage to fear, depression, anxiety & shame.” - Angie T. (Children’s Ministry, Preschool)
“Light design! Over the past few months, another R-Team member had volunteered to personally teach me stage lighting fundamentals. He took the time to create an intro course where he discussed color, mood, atmosphere, etc.. God blessed me with the gift of creativity, however, I would have never imagined that He would utilize me in this manner. As someone who is notably quite shy, I am amazed how He works through me on Sunday mornings to light His stage on the spot. This opportunity has not only allowed me to see both lighting and music in a new perspective, but has taught me how to overcome this shyness as I work in harmony with Him, the band, and the audience. I am overjoyed that the Lord and Restore Church trust me to serve in this role, and I am so grateful to be their vessel. I remember when my teacher said that I have a talent for lights, and it truly warmed my heart. If it wasn't for Restore, I would have never been able to discover this passion!” - Marissa W. (Audio, Visual, & Lighting)
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MEMORY FROM SERVING?
“Getting to know each person and learning about their life and encouraging each other .. also cleaning up salted floors in the winter - having to sneak around in our socks to avoid leaving salt marks on freshly mopped floors ! Ha !” - Beth W. (Cleaning Team)
“I have a few, it’s really uplifting when people come back to you after praying for them and give you the praise report of answered prayers that we had prayed for in weeks before. 🙏🏼🔥❤️ ” - Danette B. (Prayer Ministry)
“Getting to know some people & the happy smiles & hugs I get when they see me each week. I feel loved.” - Debbie H (Greeting & Ushering)
“Being part of saving a persons life.” - Ryan F. (Worship Team)
HOW DOES IT FEEL TO KNOW THAT YOU ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE AT OUR CHURCH AND IN OUR COMMUNITY?
“It is a blessing to be a part of something greater than myself” - Michael T. (Youth Ministry, Prayer Ministry, Small Groups)
“I always feel better when I leave knowing I was able to give back.” - Leanne W. (Cleaning Team)
