03 Fearless Eyes of Faith

When unexpected troubles or challenges in life arise, fear can easily fill our thoughts. But because of Jesus, we can choose to lift our eyes above what threatens us and fix them on our faithful God, who has promised never to leave us or forsake us. As we do, we find a renewed confidence and hope in Him that overcomes fear.

Psalm 16:8 NIV – I keep my eyes always on the LORD. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

David looked beyond his circumstances and chose to keep the Lord before him. Though surrounded by enemies and uncertainty, he trusted that God was near. With fearless eyes of faith, we can do the same. We may not know what lies ahead, but we know who goes with us. The Lord is our refuge, our Shepherd, and our faithful Keeper. As we keep our eyes on Him, He steadies our hearts, lifts our heads, and leads us forward without fear!
