01 Running Into 2022
Psalm 16:8 NIV - 8 I keep my eyes always on the LORD. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
RUNNING INTO 2022 WITH 5 FOUNDATIONAL TRUTHS
No matter what I face in 2022, I know that:
MY FATHER ALWAYS LOVES ME
1 John 4:16-19 NKJV - 16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. 17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. 19 We love Him because He first loved us.
MY FATHER IS ALWAYS FOR ME
Romans 8:28-32 NKJV - 28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to [His] purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined [to be] conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. 31 What then shall we say to these things? If God [is] for us, who [can be] against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
MY FATHER IS ALWAYS WITH ME
Matthew 28:20 KJV - 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.
Psalm 23:4 NKJV - 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You [are] with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
MY FATHER’S SPIRIT IS ALWAYS WITHIN ME
Philippians 2:12-13 AMPC - 12 Therefore, my dear ones, as you have always obeyed [my suggestions], so now, not only [with the enthusiasm you would show] in my presence but much more because I am absent, work out (cultivate, carry out to the goal, and fully complete) your own salvation with reverence and awe and trembling (self-distrust, with serious caution, tenderness of conscience, watchfulness against temptation, timidly shrinking from whatever might offend God and discredit the name of Christ). 13 [Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the while [a]effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and [b]delight.
Galatians 5:22-23 AMPC - 22 But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, 23 Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [that can bring a charge].
WE ARE ALWAYS WELL ABLE TO OVERCOME
Numbers 13:30 AMPC - 30 Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once and possess it; we are well able to conquer it.
2 Corinthians 12:10 AMPC - 10 So for the sake of Christ, I am well pleased and take pleasure in infirmities, insults, hardships, persecutions, perplexities and distresses; for when I am weak [[a]in human strength], then am I [truly] strong (able, powerful [b]in divine strength).
