Restore Church is partnering with the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office, Yorkville Police Department and the Bristol Kendall Fire Department on Tuesday, August 27 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in order to provide an Active Threat Training Class for Restore Church and the local community.
The purpose of the class is to inform and to empower the community on how to respond to an active threat or active shooter situation and to understand how to cooperate with local law enforcement and first responders. Due to some of the intense content of the class, we are asking that only those who are 16 years and up attend. Officers plan to bring equipment and may also simulate with blank ammunition an active threat situation.
