We are excited to announce that after a year of much planning and preparation, we have received our building permit from the City and we are now set to begin phase 1 construction on our new building! This project is all about reaching our community with the message of Jesus and we’re excited to share with you more details on how the new building is going to greatly impact our ability to minister to the individuals and families at Restore Church. A Special Message
Dear Friends,
Melissa and I are excited to share with you some exciting plans for the future of Restore Church along with a renewed vision and ways we are going to carry out that vision together. Over the past few years, we all faced disruptions and distractions that affected our lives in many ways but we believe that God wants us to see beyond where we have been in order to advance into the things that He has prepared for us! The word advance means to move forward in a purposeful way. I believe that it’s time for you and I to move forward more than ever before into the plans and purposes of God. This is true for us individually and corporately as well, especially as it relates to what we’re doing together as a church family. We believe that this is our time to ADVANCE as a local church in order to fulfill the vision that God has given us. This is why Melissa and I are excited to introduce to you the Advance Project.
In April of 2019, we started holding services at our new location in Yorkville and in just the first 10 months of being in our new building, our average attendance increased by 74%. Since that time, during the shutdown, online church, outdoor church and the reopening of our building, the Lord helped us to remain steady and we have seen His grace and favor in amazing ways… we are growing! Over the course of 2021, our average attendance increased by 42% and we’re excited to share that 256 people have made decisions for Jesus since we’ve been in our current building. As we look to the future, we believe that the Lord wants us to prepare to make an even greater impact in our community and that’s what the Advance Project is all about.
The Advance Project consists of a renewed vision for Restore Church, new systems we’ve put in place to carry out the vision and new plans for growth and expansion on our property in Yorkville. We invite you to watch the attached videos and scroll down through this page to learn more. Remember, we are stronger together and we want you to be a part of the team! We invite you to pray about where you can Get Involved. We also encourage you to look to the Lord on how you can support the Advance Project financially. 100% of gifts designated for the Advance Project will go towards construction costs. We are excited about all that God is going to do as we unite and work together to further His purpose!
This is a defining moment and we have an opportunity to do something significant together. For the sake of the Great Commission Jesus has given us, for the sake of the people living in our communities all around us, and for the sake of our children and the generations that will come after us, it’s time for us to advance the message of Jesus and God’s plan and purpose for our church!
