Project Overview

The word advance means to move forward in a purposeful way. We believe that this is our time to advance as a local church in order to fulfill the vision that God has given us of reaching our community with the message of Jesus. This is why Melissa and I are excited to introduce to you the Advance Project.

Over the course of 2021, our average attendance increased by 42% and we’re excited to share that 256 people have made decisions for Jesus since we’ve been in our current building. Restore Church has continued to grow in 2022 and the need to expand is evident. As we look to the future, we believe that the Lord wants us to prepare to make an even greater impact in our community and that’s what the Advance Project is all about.

The Advance Project consists of a renewed vision for Restore Church, new systems we’ve put in place to carry out the vision and new plans for growth and expansion on our property in Yorkville. We invite you to watch the attached videos and scroll down through this page to learn more.

We believe that this is a defining moment and we have an opportunity to do something significant together. For the sake of the Great Commission Jesus has given us, for the sake of the people living in our communities all around us, and for the sake of our children and the generations that will come after us, it’s time for us to advance. We invite you to pray about where you can get involved and we also encourage you to look to the Lord on how you can support the Advance Project financially. We’re excited about all that God is going to do as we unite and work together to advance His purpose!

Project Goals

Phase 1 Construction

We have received our building permit from the City and we are now set to begin phase 1 construction on our new building! This project is all about reaching our community with the message of Jesus and we’re excited to share with you more details on how the new building is going to greatly impact our ability to minister to the families at Restore Church.

The new building will be a 10,000 square foot addition that will connect to our existing building, giving us more than twice the amount of our current ministry space. Our sanctuary seating will more than double and we will have additional classrooms but the biggest impact is going to be on our children’s ministry. This project is going to allow us to convert our current building into all kid’s ministry space for Restore Kids.

Phase 1 Construction will begin Spring of 2022, consisting of mainly the excavation, concrete foundation, floor and the building structure itself. Weather permitting and with God’s help, we plan to have phase 1 completed by the end of the spring sometime in June.

This project is about much more than concrete, steel and lumber! This is about us advancing the Gospel of Jesus in our community and making a greater impact for the Kingdom of God. It’s about the individuals and families that we are called to reach as a local church… we believe that we are building in order to make room for those who aren’t here yet!
